Peter D. VanderBloomer

I am an environmental scientist and writer. I’ve had the chance to scientifically investigate two of the world’s hyper-diverse ecosystems: coral reefs and Amazonian rainforests. Outside of strictly the sciences, my primary interest lies in the relation between people and their respective environments. Some further interests include religion (specifically shamanism, pantheism, and buddhism), philosophy of mind and of biology, anthropology, and literature.
